Spring clean-up!!

So i am at home with a very sick husband, and hoping i am not next! I am trying to get some “spring” cleaning done even though we had a bit of snow fall last night … anyway! I was cleaning out my cupboards, and it gave me an idea. So no cake post today, today i am going to ask you all to try and clean out one cupboard in your kitchen…. here’s the payoff: find three food items that have been there a while that are still good, but you don’t know what to make with them. I am a recycle/no waste/ use up what you have kinda gal (or at least i really try to be) so i will pick one readers three items and make a meal from it, and post a picture of the finished product next week. So get cleaning!!! It will be interesting to see what we come up with!

PS> maybe this “green” creativity is coming from reading the book ” Gorgeously Green ” by Sophie Uliano , which i am reviewing for Harper Collins this month. It’s turning out to be a pretty good book, and i am sure my husband will want to be recycling it after i tell him i am going to stop using deodorant because of the chemicals….
