Prayer For Myself

Rescue me from this infernal of damnation,

Speed be with you as I await,

Reality no more for me only dreams,

Cease this chapter in my life, desist and be no more.

Rescue me from this life of misery,

Guide me through the darkness that I do not understand,

Slay my pursuers for they must die,

Awaken me from this misty trance of slavery.

Knives, pills, poison or self-inflicted pain

Could hurt me no more than I hurt now,

Shorten my existence as I long for freedom,

Freedom that only You can give.

Hold me tight, place my hand within Yours,

Promise me things will change

And that life will be different from now on,

Take me from this hell on earth.

Grant me choices, I have known not,

Let me see reason and sanity once again,

Fill my heart with Your pure, unselfish, sweet love,

Love me unconditionally.

Let me know peace and serenity,

Wake me toYour secure kindness,

Allow me to walk in Your Holy ways

Falling no more.

Lord, Jesus allow my life to reflect Your desires,

Lay beside me and grant my soul peace within,

Give me strength and courage,

Self-confidence and self-esteem.

Grant me the gift of honesty,

Halt the pursuit from my enemies,

Allow my soul to grow and to fortify

Grant me life!

I pray, Lord, that You will heed my call,

Tend my wounds with sensitivity and care,

Let Your love flourish and spread,

So that I may represent You in Truth,

If I may be so bold.

Be near me Lord Jesus,

Humble me so that I may work for You,

Heal my mind and my soul

Lead me in the direction that You would have me follow.

Bless my family and my friends,

Heed my prayers that flow up to You in Heaven

Forgive me Father for I am not but a sinner

Only with Your Love can I survive and know Your abundant Life.
