The PMS Club
P.M.S. – a word…. An abbreviation used often in the womanly world!
The truth of the matter is, it happens/has happened/will happen.. We’ve endured it, missed it, hurt over it, and rejoiced over it… And so with the ups and downs of our livelihood, I’d like to change the abbreviation into something that should just happen as well– Praising My Savior. The truth is just like p.m.s., we don’t always get it, some of us get it earlier or later than others, and we sometimes lose it for a while (like when we hit menopause, or when we have babies).. Some of us are walking are walking younger women through it (our delightful daughters), and some of us are trying hard to keep it away… whatever your walk is we have the sisterhood of PMS to share.
How did the PMS club come about?
It’s rather funny honestly. Our care group was having a ladies night only. There were several of us hanging out in my friends hot tub and we happen to be talking about having a PMS club. That was in 2006. Well, it never left my head since than, and we had constantly joked about having another PMS meeting. Well two years later my head was still stuck about starting the PMS club officially. Seeing we’re all Christians and the point of our get-togethers has been praising God, what could be a better abbreviation than Praising My Savior?
Please join us in our walk with a bit of humor and a whole lot of grace from God and hopefully from our sisters around us. Join us young and old as we learn from each other in our walk with Christ.
If you are interested in being a part of this group, please feel free to leave a comment & participate with us. If you are interested in contributing to this as a writer, prayer warrior, investor (donate prizes or sponsor a space for advertising), please contact us and we’ll see if we fit together!!
* Please note, there will be no toleration of rudeness or “unladylike” comments on this blog – we’re about making friends, providing meaningful information, and most importantly helping each other grow in Christ with bits of humor and a whole lotta grace!
